Vacation time

As I'd mentioned, I've been loving and living in the sun as much a possible the last few weeks - including spending last week at LCLC working with Confirmation Camp. What a great week!

This week, I'll be on vacation and spending some much needed time resting and being "with" my family. We may even take in a museum or two as well.

Have a great week, hope your 4th weekend was wonderful and see you soon.

PS> We just got a new digital camera, so I hope to show you the further tan development of Summer 2010! (Don't fret all, I still am using sunscreen!)

Your mention of taking in a museum or two reminded me that it was you and Ian who suggested that we visit the Genesee Country Village & Museum. We made that visit the last weekend in June. I'll be sharing details of our visit as soon as I get the pictures that I took organized, edited and uploaded. Thank you for the suggestion. We enjoyed our visit very much!

St. Brigid Blessings on the Threshold

In preparation for St. Brigid’s day, I consider the blessings that are with us on the threshold.  What are the blessings, neither at the beginning or end, but in the middle.  In transitional spaces that take up most of our days? I think that the threshold can be a space of healing. An opportunity to see things in a new way. A river that takes us to new places of grace. May you feel the presence of love in your thresholds. May it flow from all our beginnings through to each end. May the space of threshold be a balm like lavender, healing our battle wounds. May we find healing in the inbetween. Healing lives on the threshold. #blessings #stbrigid #taralamontart
