For Charleston

For the old streets, for the many feet that walk them, for the hands clasped in prayer yesterday and  the hands that join in prayer with and for them now... Gather together, hold each other close, for today is a day where  words fall short... but in support and love we pray and hope for justice. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.  Romans 8:26 Charleston - we stand with you.

The spelling was odd, but not to far off to be told. The "U's" were exchanged for the letter "v" - the reason for this is far past what I can see. I find my heart heavy at the reality of the worlds suffering, sometimes it seems all too much. Sadly, I think the human needs become overshadowed by the press concerning the financial flux of our worlds economy. Sarah Mclachlan released this song and video about two years ago and I remember how moved I was by it. She admits her feeling of being overwhelmed in the lyric of the song... " The world's on fire and It's more than I can handle I'll tap...
