One I'd heard forever ago on the radio and the other a middle school student shared with me this week... One morning a man and woman woke up and started to fight over who should brew the coffee. The man insisted that his wife had to make the coffee. The woman insisted that her husband make the coffee. Finally, the woman said, "I have proof on why you need to make the coffee. It says so in the Bible!" The man was not going for it and insisted she show him where in the Bible it said he HAD to make the coffee. "I won't make the coffee unless you prove the Bible says I have to do it!" She opened her Bible, pointed to the top of the page and showed it to her husband. "See right there - it says he-brews!" Yesterday I was playing a game of Scrabble with my niece and my daughter's boyfriend and laughed at myself after looking down to my tiles to see this phrase... U BE WIZE... Misspelled and all, I still think it's a good message. It's much better advice, and grammar than the average fortune cookie, only you can't eat it. Just when you get to feeling to serious about things in life, you see things that make you chuckle. Like a warped muddy snowman, complete with scarf and mittens on sticks, in the neighbors yard - in OCTOBER! or - Your dog goes completely nuts with the new ball she got and runs all over the place, wiping out and grappling to catch it. Over and over and over again. or - you family does something nice and silly that makes you crack up. So much for being serious.

Some planning for the next couple months of youth activities was accomplished, I spent too much time on an unsuccessful mp3 downloading project, for every phone message I answered - It seemed I received 2 more in their place, exercised TWICE today, I did not skip lunch , went to my Middle school group and we worked on a video project, chatted with a friend over a sad circumstance, picked up some supplies and dinner before youth group, ate dinner, played a group game called "RAGING ELEPHANT" only to wipe out on my right knee and end up with a giant purple and green ( and I hope temporary) lump below my kneecap, but besides the bag of old freezer-burnt hamburgers sitting in my injury during our lesson - I thoroughly enjoyed t...
